The Fellowship Effect

The Fellowship is a launchpad into climate careers — and the numbers show it.

The Climatebase Fellowship is a twelve-week, applied program for professionals making the move into climate. This report looks at the 2,318 fellows from our first six cohorts — far enough past the program to have actually changed jobs — and asks the simplest question we can: did it work?

70%
of fellows started a new role on average within 7 months of the program end date.
Includes both climate and non-climate roles
1 in 3
of those new roles is directly in climate
34% on first move · among 1,572 placed fellows
48%

Climate-workforce share, doubled
— The Climatebase network effect

Your next climate job
might come from a fellow.

Join Climatebase and you don't just join a cohort. You join a network of fellows already at work in climate — side by side, at hundreds of companies, hiring each other into the next role.

30%
of fellows work alongside another Climatebase Fellow at their current company. 1,147 of 3,777 fellows, clustering at 237 distinct employers across the climate ecosystem.
